JLT continues to get USA radio support and media exposure in the summer of 2002! He'll join the Voices of Classic Rock to "Rock The Hills" of North Dakota in
June 2002! JLT was reunited with thousands of Rainbow/Deep Purple/Yngwie Malmsteen fans when he appeared at Junefest, June 1 in Las Vegas. His set with Glenn
Hughes (as part of the Voices of Classic Rock show) ignited the crowd with many concert-goers admitting that it was among the highlights of the entire
festival. Also on the bill: Bad Company (with Paul Rodgers), REO Speedwagon, Joan Jett and Jethro Tull. Radio station KKLZ and afternoon drive time personality,
Kim Kelly shared the mic with JLT the Friday before the concert. Joe brought along Glenn Hughes as well as fellow VCR member, Pat Travers.
JLT also hooked up with the Voices of Classic Rock in Alexandria, Virginia, Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8 for concerts at the 21st annual Waterfront
Festival. The festival drew over 80,000 people and benefitted the Alexandria Red Cross. Washington DC's Classic Rock 94.7 hosted the event.
The Rockin The Hills festival near Minot, North Dakota, is a Woodstock-like classic rock extravaganza. People come to camp out and listen to the great live
music. JLT will join many of his fellow Voices of Classic Rock cohorts on June 28 as VCR will be the "finale" to the festival's roster that night. The festival will
also feature bands like Molly Hatchet, Night Ranger and CCR.
