Two New JLT-Infused Tracks Slated For Release on new MelodicRock.com Compilation
The full details of the brand new MelodicRock.com compilation - MRCD7: Forces Of Dark & Light have officially been announced on the website. Andrew McNiece, of Melodic Rock writes, "This compilation is a little different than previous ones, in that I have gathered tracks with two distinct moods - dark and moody and light and breezy. Samples of both JLT tracks (one is a duet with Jane Bogaert) are posted on the main page of: melodicrock.com.
The Voices of Rainbow Announce Live in Japan Dates
Joe will join Rainbow alumni Graham Bonnet and Doogie White for three special concerts in Japan this fall. Joe's band will feature guitarist Akira Kajitama and Bonnet's are members of what is now Alcatrazz. The website for these shows is in Japanese so we provided information in this pop up box. JLT's Sunstorm on forthcoming Frontiers Compilation
On August 27 Frontiers Records will issue their first ballads compilation titled "Power Ballads Vol. 1." Sunstorm's "Walk On" was listed as one of the tracks according to a recent press release. The song was a collaboration between Turner and Desmond Child (KISS; BON JOVI etc) for the 1987 Jimmy Barnes album "Freight Train Heart." Joe's version with Sunstorm was originally released in 2009.
JLT Joined School of Rock As Guest Performer/Professor: USA Today and Soundpress Articles
Students attending the SCHOOL OF ROCK programs in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania had an opportunity to share a studio and stage with Joe when he served as guest professor and performer with the All-Stars at three locations in June: Downington PA, Bergen County, NJ and New York City. Worldwide DVD release of "Live In Berkrock" from JLT and Brazen Abbot is now available in NTSC and PAL formats
You can check out Joe and his performance with Nikolo Kotzev and Brazen Abbot on DVD. This edition is available in both NTSC and PAL formats via the band's website. Kotsev remains true to his philosophy in his statement that the concert hasn?t been tempered with in the studio, so the live atmosphere is kept intact and the performance is as real as can be. Rock Candy Records Reissues Fandango's fourth and final album "Cadillac."
This album, from the USA/East Coast based eclectic rock unit, Fandango, features several songs co-written and sung by Joe Lynn Turner. It's a record on which the group takes flight as a mature and fully confident melodic hard rock band in the finest late seventies tradition.
