Fantastic night in Glasgow on Thursday. I've been a huge JLT fan since Difficult to Cure. All his work throughout the years has been excellent, from Rainbow, Malmsteen, Purple to the solo albums. I was at the gig in The Moorings, Aberdeen earlier this year and there was no way I was missing Glasgow. 600 mile round trip from the Isle of Harris, no problem. All the musicians that shared the stage with JLT on Thursday were immense and the whole night had a great vibe to it. A party atmosphere very like the fantastic night you would get going to see The Quireboys. Let's hope JLT comes back to Scotland soon. Full electric set would be cracking! Joe was as good if not better than when I saw and met him in Liverpool with Rainbow in 83. Fabulous set list and awesome spontaneity with Ross McEwen. The stripped back songs showed just how good Joe is both as a singer and guitarist. Please come back to the UK for full electric show too soon.
